BIOGRAPHY:
Kaori started formally training in art at a local community college after she moved to the US at the age of 26. She managed to take some art classes at several different community colleges while she was raising her two daughters and finally decided to go back to school full time to study art in 2004. She had extensive academic training at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. As of 2008, she has been studying Figure Paintings and Drawings intensively under the instruction of Sharon Sprung, Joseph Peller, Costa Vavagiakis and Tom Torak at The Arts Students League of New York and National Academy School of Fine Arts.
